Our story began in 1967 when Pieter Laubscher Construction started designing and manufacturing steel products and buildings in the Northern Cape, South Africa. Through the years, the company established a sound foundation in the steel construction industry and by 2008 Pieter’s sons, Andries and Pieter Jnr., had both joined the family business. Offices were set up in the Western Cape and we started trading as LEMCO – Laubscher’s Engineering Manufacturing Company.
In 2009 LEMCO Structural steel CK was registered as a company in its own right and by 2010, LEMCO had already established itself as one of the leading structural steel companies in South Africa. Today, we are also excited about our broadened horizons – delivering quality steel structures to the rest of Africa.
