Building Construction Site Manager

LEMCO may be known for steel, but we’re expanding our project footprint across South Africa — and we’re recruiting a Building Construction Site Manager for our property development division to run day-to-day site operations with precision and professional control.

Role Overview

You’ll manage all building-related site activities: foundations, concrete work, brickwork, finishes, services coordination, subcontractors, timelines, and compliance.

• Key Responsibilities
  Manage building construction activities from groundworks to handover.
• Oversee subcontractors for concrete, brickwork, civil works, roofing, and finishes.
• Ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
• Track timelines, daily progress, resources, and site conditions.
• Enforce Health & Safety standards and maintain required documentation.
• Conduct site meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Handle inspections, snags, and handover requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years building construction site management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building methods and sequencing.
• Ability to interpret building plans and specifications.
• Proven team management and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence; willing to travel.

Package & Remuneration
• Market-related salary based on experience.
• Start date: January 2026.
